Week 13: Lessons from Web 2.0
Submitted by amanda on Sun, 04/05/2009 - 14:55
Welcome to week 13! We have just 2 weeks of class left -- I can't believe how fast this term has gone! Last week, you all inspired me with your insightful and thoughtful posts on marketing and evaluation. This week, we're moving into looking at and thinking about what libraries can & have learned from web 2.0. There aren't a whole lot of articles to read this week, but I hope the readings will make you think about how some of the "philosophies" around web 2.0 (transparency, perpetual beta, open conversation) have impacted the way libraries build conversations and community with their users. As usual, all content for this week is here.
Reminders for this week:
- The course chat this week is on Wednesday, April 8 at 5 pm.
- Final projects/papers are due in a week and a half (midnight, Wednesday, April 15th). As usual, feel free to get in touch if you need to chat about your project. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you all come up with!
Have a great week, everyone.
